Encapsulation here means a Class 1 vapor barrier in 10 or 20 mil, with the 10-mil sheet warrantied for life, plus a Santa Fe or Aprilaire dehumidifier matched to the size of the space. The Santa Fe Compact 70 carries a 6-year manufacturer warranty of its own.
When budget matters, we will quote a hybrid encapsulation honestly: the barrier runs 8 to 16 inches up the foundation wall instead of the full height. It is not a complete seal and we say so, but it covers the exposed ground at a real savings.
