Fiberglass floor insulation is not designed for the conditions underneath your house. Fiberglass floor insulation can also hide damage caused by the environment in your crawl space to your home’s support structure, such as dry rot.
We can tack up hanging insulation as part of our services, but we prefer to remove it entirely if it needs to be replaced. There are newer products that do the job of this type of insulation for far cheaper and with better results, such as foam board and spray-foam insulation.
